Cadeniel is an experimental contemporary jewelry brand based in Mexico City, founded by biologist and artist Danielle Apolinar. Since 2021, the brand has been in constant evolution, developing an identity that explores desire and fantasy through biological imagery, fragmented floral anatomies, and organic forms held in tension.
Its pieces are conceived as extensions of the body: assemblages that suggest flowers emerging from it, where playfulness, strangeness, and femininity intertwine.
Cadeniel also operates as a material laboratory, working primarily with high-fire ceramics, gemstones, and waxes. Production takes place in the brand’s Mexico City atelier, where the authenticity of each piece is essential. Ceramics allow for a wide range of colors and unique accidents; while the pieces belong to the same design family, each one remains special and unrepeatable, even within the brand’s more standardized lines.
